Spring, Summer and Fall Tours Available with ReservationsOur tours offer a mix of imaginary play and hands-on experiences. Kids pretend to be farmers, learning about a farmer's day through "real" chores on the farm.
We specialize in Pre-School and Early Elementary, but can change our format to any group or curriculum. Tours are led by Amy Paulus, certified in secondary education with preschool teaching experience as well.
Our Tours have lots of variations depending on the season, and may include:
Plant flowers or vegetables (depending on the season)Basic Spring Tours are $6 per child, which includes a plant your own pot of flowers activity. Minimum of 10 children or $60 charge.
Basic Fall Tours are $6 per child, with a minimum of 12 children or $60 charge, and take approximately 1 1/2 hours.
Smaller groups are always welcome to come and use the play areas, pick baby pumpkins, visit the animals and market on their own during regular business hours.
With Tour:
Choose one project for your group to do together. Choose from:
Pumpkin Painting-paint, decorate small pumpkin to take home ($5 per child)
Cookie Painting-decorate homemade large sugar cookie with icing, cookie paint, & candy ($5 per child)
Children's garden planted by our school groups in the spring and harvested by our fall school groups. A
wonderfully enchanting place for kids...learn how food grows! One of the best parts of farm life and a child's life...getting dirty!!
Help us plant a gorgeous garden filled with tempting treats. Taste delicious beans and corn right off the plant (in the fall) pick tomatoes for our hungry pigs; see
what grows under the ground, on vines, on stalks. Learn about weeds, pests and garden friends. Bring your group in the spring to plant and bring 'em back in the fall to reap the rewards!
We have picnic tables available, if you wish to bring your lunch or snack with you and spend additional time on the farm. All tours and use of the picnic areas are by reservation only.
